All along the trail, from Georgia to Maine, and Maine to Georgia, the trail is marked by white blazes on the trees, rocks, asphalt, fence posts, anwhere that the hikers will be able to see it. This white blaze is important to the thru-hiker and becomes a very powerful symbol of the trail. This was one of the last blazes that Jeremy and I passed on our journey. Let's hope it's not the last we'll ever pass!
