Diane's Family

Diane and her family
A little odd
Or so thought all the neighbors
They bought a beautiful
House in the woods
And moved in circus trailers

"Blooming Onions!"
One proclaimed
And "Tilt-A-Whirl" another
A carousel
A weighing scale
And then there was her mother

A burly woman
Wrapped in flannel
With greasy hands and dirty nails
She worked on all the motors
She smoked and drank
But her motors never failed

Diane's father too
Was quite adept
At keeping motors running
He laughed a lot
He cooked their meals
And kept the great food coming

Yes, odd they were
And noisy too
But one thing was quite clear
Though not so clean
And not so bright
They held each other dear
